On May 9, 2018 Stephen Teller will present “Strategic Planning – Why, How, Then What?” to approximately 60 advocacy organizations from more than 20 countries who are members of the World Pancreatic Cancer Coalition. The Coalition is comprised of advocacy groups from around the world who are dedicated to helping people and families affected by pancreatic cancer. Drawing upon his 20+ years as a strategic adviser to corporations and health advocacy organizations, Stephen will address the most common pitfalls faced by organizations in developing and executing their strategies. His discussion will highlight several examples and insights from helping Patient Advocacy Groups address specific challenges that relate to both start-up and mature organizations. Stephen will share frameworks and tips to simplify the planning process, and enable organizations to create meaningful strategies with clear objectives that motivate their teams.
